The Llawnroc Inn, is within fifty metres of the Cornish coastal path, walks can be enjoyed to some lovely locations. To the north over Chapel Point lies the quaint fishing village and harbour of Mevagissey, and to the south, over Penamaen Point, to the secluded Vault Beach. There is access to many miles of National Trust property, including Dodman Point, with its stupendous views down to the mouth of the River Fal and eastwards as far as South Devon. Situated at the most eastern point of the Roseland Peninsula, the bay of Gorran Haven is sheltered from the prevailing west winds by Dodman Point. Bathers can enjoy the luxury of two sandy beaches offering safe bathing, all within easy reach of the hotel. Wild flowers abound in the spring and there is a wide variety of birds to be seen in the area.
The sea angler will feel at home here, with numerous secluded spots along the cliffs. Alternatively, why not sit and relax on the quay and watch the local fishermen haul in their catch at the end of the day? Gorran Haven Street Map One of England's last traditional fishing villages.
