The Llawnroc Inn, is within fifty metres of the Cornish coastal path, walks can be enjoyed to some lovely locations. To the north over Chapel Point lies the quaint fishing village and harbour of Mevagissey, and to the south, over Penamaen Point, to the secluded Vault Beach. There is access to many miles of National Trust property, including Dodman Point, with its stupendous views down to the mouth of the River Fal and eastwards as far as South Devon.

Gorran Haven

Situated at the most eastern point of the Roseland Peninsula, the bay of Gorran Haven is sheltered from the prevailing west winds by Dodman Point. Bathers can enjoy the luxury of two sandy beaches offering safe bathing, all within easy reach of the hotel. Wild flowers abound in the spring and there is a wide variety of birds to be seen in the area.

St Austell

The town of St. Austell is only a twenty minute car ride away from Gorran Haven, and has good major roads leading to all parts of Cornwall. We are therefore, an excellent base for tourists. St. Austell has two eighteen hole golf courses and a modern sports centre with an indoor heated swimming pool, squash courts, badminton courts and sauna baths.
